National Family Caregiver Support Program – Coordinator (Part Time) – Cheyenne


Under the direction of the Executive Director and supervision of the Family Caregiver Support Program Manager of Wyoming Senior Citizens, Inc., the FCR Program Coordinator has responsibility for the development and day-to-day operation of the FCR Programs within their region of the state.


  1. Works to meet the goals and objectives of the Family Caregiver Program to WSCI staff and monitors performance to meet objectives.
  2. Recruits, trains and supervises other FCR program workers.
  3. Recruits caregivers (clients) to receive the FCR services.
  4. Adheres to and administers personnel policies and procedures for program staff which are consistent with those of WSCI.
  5. Provides staff assistance to the FCR Program manager, discusses local program policies and coordinates on grant goals and objectives.
  6. Assists in the planning and development of a continuous program of public relations in cooperation with the FCR Program Manager.
  7. Helps WSCI promote needed community support for the program.
  8. Coordinates travel and budget requests with the FCR Program Manager and adheres to the approved budget; including specific approval of time sheets for reimbursement of travel and FCR workers' wages.
  9. Assists in preparing reports to meet the administrative and program needs specified by WSCI and the State of Wyoming as appropriate.
  10. Attends conferences, meetings, and training events related to the position.
  11. Maintains awareness of programmatic data and completes required documentation as related to in-home placement of workers.
  12. Other duties as assigned.


Minimum of two years working in a community or social service agency and/or business with the public or older individuals; proven ability to work without close supervision; demonstrate sound administrative and management skills; have a background in community development and/or health and social service delivery programs; demonstrate sound oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; valid driver’s license and use of reliable automobile a must.  Must be willing to travel as required.

The position of FCR Coordinator is not an “Exempt” position as classified under the Fair Labor Standards Act.  Wyoming Senior Citizens, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
