Administrative Manager – Payroll Specialist

The Administrative Manager, under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director and supervision of the Fiscal Director is responsible for a variety of administrative and financial duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1.     Assist Executive Director and Fiscal Director with grant development.
2.     Prepares payroll for employees, participants and volunteers.
3.     Responsible for updating information into applicable data systems.
4.     Responsible for Program Accounts Receivable.
5.     Create and maintain Program databases.
6.     Prepares all State and Federal payroll tax reports.
7.     Serve as computer and network point of contact.
8.     Maintain server.
9.     Balance saving and checking accounts.
10.  Maintain PTO and compensatory time records.
11.  Maintain petty cash.
12.  Close out postage and copy machines each month.
13.  Maintain check file.
14.  Record Program In-Kind contributions.
15.  Typing correspondence, documents and reports.
16.  Maintain all mailing lists.
17.  Maintain inventory and depreciation schedule.
18.  Maintain new employee packets.
19. May supervise other employees as designated by Executive Director.
20.  Other duties as assigned by Executive Director and Fiscal Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have the highest integrity! A minimum of five years of office and fiscal management with increasing responsibilities is required.  A minimum of two years of Microsoft applications and detailed knowledge of payroll processes is required.  Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.  Must have sound background in fiscal procedures.  Demonstrate sound interpersonal skills.  Must be bondable.  Must have valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and be willing to travel.

The position of Administrative Manager is an “Exempt” position as classified under the Fair Labor Standards Act.  Wyoming Senior Citizens, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.

Salary Range: $38 – $43k
