SENIOR COMPANION PROGRAM

Services Offered:	Companions serve adults age 21 and over who need help in order to remain living independently at home. Companions are trained to assist adults with all kinds of tasks, such as simple chores around the home that are essential, but often impossible for the homebound person to accomplish on their own. No charge for service and no income eligibility requirements for recipients.
Benefits:	Senior Companions receive a tax free stipend of $4.00 per hour, meal and mileage reimbursement, educational training, supplemental auto and personal liability insurance as well as formal recognition activities for their volunteer service.
Who are the Senior Companions?	Caring individuals Age 55 or over Limited income (for persons who wish to receive a stipend) People who want to add quality to the lives of others
